Verde Cleaning Inc. reserves the right to amend these conditions without prior notice. By requesting Verde Cleaning Inc. to provide service by any means, including telephone, email, fax, booking form and or direct conversation, the client accepts that these terms and conditions are binding.
Verde Cleaning Inc. will need to be contacted for any changes or extras regarding the client’s cleaning service. Verde Cleaning Inc. will provide a quote and schedule extra time to complete these services. The team will not be able to provide extra services or changes without having notice from management.
Verde Cleaning Inc. reserves the right to reevaluate rates at any time based on the time required to perform our service to meet the client’s standards. We will monitor the actual cleaning time for the first two months and occasionally thereafter. We will contact the client to discuss possible price or service revisions if the cleaning time differs drastically from the original agreed-upon amount.
All matters related to Verde Cleaning Inc. (including but not limited to the scope of work, scheduling matters, etc.) will be confirmed in a written agreement. Any verbal agreement made between Verde Cleaning Inc. and the client will not be upheld.
All cleaning service prices are reviewed annually and adjusted in line with inflation, minimum wage increases or any reasonable circumstances.
All cleaning services come with a 24-hour guarantee. Verde Cleaning Inc. is not liable for any re-cleans or damage after this time period.
All equipment and supplies are provided by Verde Cleaning Inc. If the client prefers the team to use any personal equipment or supplies, the client must update the team with clear instructions on usage. Verde Cleaning Inc. will not be held liable should anything go wrong with the equipment or the outcome of using it.
Verde Cleaning Inc. reserves the right to bring all equipment and cleaning supplies into the home. All products have been thoroughly researched and are clean for use. If those living in the home or operating in the business have allergies which may cause negative reactions due to our equipment and supplies, the client is responsible to contact Verde Cleaning Inc. management before the cleaning. If Verde Cleaning Inc. management has not received this information before the clean (written information only), Verde Cleaning Inc. will not be held liable.
Verde Cleaning Inc. is not responsible for any pets that “escape the home” during the clean.
Pets are highly advised to be locked up or secured while anyone from the Verde Cleaning team is on location. We can’t determine the relationship between the team and your pets, and we want to ensure the safety of everyone. If pets are not properly secured and an incident were to happen, the client is fully liable for any consequences that come from the situation.
Verde Cleaning Inc. does not clean up pet dropping, feces, fluids, etc.
Verde Cleaning Inc. reserves the right to suspend or cancel a booking if there are problems with the access, water or electricity supplies. The client will be held liable for the full cost of the agreed service.
Verde Cleaning Inc. reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the client’s clean if any issues (which has an effect on the final result of the clean) occur.
Verde Cleaning Inc.’s cancellation/rescheduling policy is as follows.
Each clean rescheduled results in a 1% additional charge per day due to the additional work that will be necessary to complete the job. Example: a monthly maintenance cleaning is rescheduled 1 week would result in a 7% additional charge on the scheduled clean.
When cleaning is paused for more than six weeks, a client’s upcoming clean will be booked as an initial visit and subject to the most current pricing. In this instance;
Service may be terminated at any time by either party for any reason. At least 72 hours’ advance notice is required to cancel services, or the late cancellation fee will apply.
If the client is not home while the cleaning team arrives on location, either code/key/or any other way of access needs to be provided.
The absence of access instructions upon arrival will result in service canceling, in which case the client is responsible for the full cleaning fee charge. In case the team needs to wait until someone provides access to the home, the team will wait a maximum of 15 minutes until leaving the location.
If the location is equipped with a security system, please ensure that it is in the “OFF” position or inform Verde Cleaning Inc. management of the code and input sequence before the client’s scheduled cleaning. If the client chooses to leave the alarm armed, we will not be held responsible for false alarms.
Key replacement/locksmith fees are paid by Verde Cleaning Inc. only if keys are lost or miscoded by Verde Cleaning or its employees.
All keys provided to Verde Cleaning Inc. will be safely held in a locked key box, available to management only. All keys will be provided to the team on the day of the scheduled clean and will be dropped off in a lockbox at the end of the day. Employees will only have access to the key on the day of the scheduled clean.
Clients must provide accessible parking for staff when they visit. All paid parking required is charged back to the client.
Verde Cleaning Inc. advises their team to clean around all human and pet fluids or waste (feces, blood, vomit, etc.) Verde Cleaning Inc. will not be held responsible for any of these areas for the safety of our team. Verde Cleaning Inc. will notify the client of any areas that are of concern.
Verde Cleaning Inc. advises their team not to move heavy furniture. Furniture will only be moved when it is safe to do so. (Safety is decided by Verde Cleaning Inc.)
Verde Cleaning Inc. advises their team to clean around any fragile or dangerous items. Refer to our damage/breakage policy when situations occur.
Verde Cleaning Inc. will suggest all clients to be out of the area when the cleanings occur. Verde Cleaning Inc. is not responsible for re-cleaning areas after usage by the client. If any injury occurs due to wet floors, items being out while cleaning, etc. while the client was in the area being cleaned, Verde Cleaning Inc. will not be held liable.
Verde Cleaning Inc. can only be responsible for cleaning areas that can be reached with a two-step stool. (Includes extended duster.) – unless these areas are outlined in the quote by special request.
Verde Cleaning Inc. requires its cleaning team to be respectful while in the client’s home. Our team members do not answer the client’s telephone or doorbell, babysit pets or children, or indulge in any activities that are not related to Verde Cleaning Inc. For insurance reasons, the team’s only responsibility while on location is to complete the requested service.
If the cleaning team feels that their personal safety is in danger (someone in the home is intoxicated, a vicious animal is not contained, they are being exposed to drugs or firearms, smoking in the vicinity of cleaners, etc.), the team will leave and the client is responsible for the full cost of the scheduled service.
The client is responsible for securing all private information and any items with material or sentimental value. If there are any items the client would like the team not to touch, contact Verde Cleaning Inc. management to arrange/ or put items away while the team is on location.
The client is responsible for securely storing valuables, heirlooms or sentimental items.
In case of damaged or broken items, Verde Cleaning Inc. requires the team to report to the office immediately.
All broken/damaged items will have to be reported within six hours after the cleaning has been completed. Once this time has passed, Verde Cleaning Inc. is not responsible for any damage.
Proof of price has to be shown for all damaged items so that a settlement may be determined. Verde Cleaning Inc. cannot be responsible for wall hangings attached with anything other than “real” picture hooks. No straight pins, thread, etc.
Proof of damage has to be shown through before and after photos with a live date attached to each image. (On the image details on cell phones.) All clients are responsible for taking pictures of all rooms within 6 hours prior to arrival of the team to ensure a settlement can be determined if this situation occurs.
Verde Cleaning Inc. shall only be responsible for replacing the item/product. No further charges can be applied. (Installation costs, return costs etc.)
The client is fully liable to inform Verde Cleaning Inc. of the exact item/product which needs replacement. Once ordered, Verde Cleaning Inc. shall not be liable for any faulty information provided by the client.
All claims which are greater than $500 are subject to a deductible of $100 payable by the client.
If the item cannot be repaired, Verde Cleaning Inc. will rectify the problem by crediting the customer with the item’s present cash value toward a similar replacement from a Verde Cleaning Inc. source upon payment of cleaning services rendered.
Verde Cleaning Inc. shall not be responsible for damage due to faulty and/or improper installation of any item. All surfaces (marble, granite, etc.) are assumed sealed and ready to clean without causing harm.
No repairs/replacements will be made until all outstanding payments have been received.
If a client suspects theft or actual theft has taken place, it is the client’s responsibility to report the incident to the Verde Cleaning Inc office within 6 hours of the clean. The client will lay a charge of theft if actual theft has taken place and follow through to the point of actual prosecution. Charges can be laid to a specific individual of Verde Cleaning Inc. Verde Cleaning Inc. is indemnified against any claim
Deposits – All deposits are non-refundable.
Deposits can be transferred to a different service day if the reschedule is within four weeks and arranged with two full business days’ advance notice. Otherwise, the deposit becomes a cancellation fee; no exceptions.
All cash payments must be placed in a sealed envelope, marked with “Verde Cleaning Inc.”, as well as the client’s name. Employees are responsible for bringing the sealed envelope to the office. When the sealed envelope is opened by management and the amount is not correct, the client will be contacted.
If the cash amount is more than the price of the clean, the remaining amount can either be used as a credit on the client’s future cleanings, or used as a tip toward the team that was on location.
If the cash amount is less than the price of the clean, the client is expected to pay the difference.
Credit Card Payments
If the payment has been completed by credit card a 3% fee will be added.
1. If marked on the invoice as a service item, no further charges applied
2. If not marked on the invoice as a service item (eg. first time client), an automatic 3% will be charged to the client’s credit card once the invoice has been paid.
If payments are overdue, Verde Cleaning Inc. serves the right to stop all services until the outstanding balance has been paid.
If the client requests keys to be collected by the Verde Cleaning Inc. cleaners from a third-party ’s address (within a 10km range), a $10.00 charge will apply. The charge will cover only the pick up of keys. If the keys need to be returned back to the third party ’s address or any other address, an additional charge of $10.00 will apply.
All outside cleaning (windows, doors, tread etc.) will not take place in freezing temperatures.
In case of inclement weather, Verde Cleaning Inc. reserves the right to cancel the client’s clean on the day of the scheduled clean for the team’s safety. A new time slot will be provided and discussed with the client, within 1–2 business days (if weather permits) to complete the clean. There will be no cancellation charges.
